Woven to Protect

I created Woven to Protect as a sequel to my first heart canvas weaving, Woven to Love. The piece was inspired by the recent overturning of Roe v Wade and the current state of the world, plagued by shootings, hatred, control, and fear. In this cathartic piece, I cut up a portion of the canvas and wove new elements to symbolize strength. You can scan the QR code to watch a part of the process.
