I rock and roll, but sometimes I need some help to bloom and grow.
This piece is about celebrating growth. Growth is possible even in difficult times, and I take it one day at a time. I have moments where I excel and other times where I face challenges. However, I strive to continue blooming despite any obstacles. My mixed media work on textured paper felt like an exploration of parts of myself I wasn't aware of. The title is a play on the song "Where This Flower Blooms" by Tyler, the Creator, feat. Frank Ocean.
